SB 101 POI – This is one of those rare bills that won’t cost money or cut funding, all the while supporting local culture and commerce. The bill will legalize hand pounded poi. Hearing on WEDNESDAY Mar 2, 2011 in Room 329 @ 9:30AM.
HB 1019 – This bill modifies the way the barrel tax is allocated, so that instead of 15 cents going to agricultural development and food security, 45 cents goes there. Right now, only 30 cents of the $1.05 is actually going towards environmental response, energy, and food security.
You can submit your testimony on any bill of interest to you.
