Albert Perez, Executive Director
Albert Perez is Executive Director of the Maui Tomorrow Foundation, and was one of its three original co-founders. Born and raised in Hawaii, he earned a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. Albert has worked at various state and county agencies, and has previously been involved with Sierra Club Hawaii, The Wilderness Society, and Life of the Land. Albert spent fifteen years as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst/Programmer, and worked for 8 years in the solar industry. His published works cover topics such as habitat connectivity, remote sensing, environmental analysis, watershed delineation and characterization, scenic resources, helicopter noise analysis, and carrying capacity. He has also been a baker.
